Task Description: Today in maths we got a task for 4 soon to be teachers !
 It was kinda hard because the boxes where to small to fit some numbers .
One thing i could have done better was not talking to my friends and instead
try and finish my work first .

      This is my animation for 2020. I decided to do it about the water cycle ! 
   The water cycle has 5 steps  . The five steps are  ... Evaporation , Condensation, preconception ,    surface runoff and transpiration ! If these steps aren't being done then there would be no more water , which means everyone would be very thirsty . This is a video explaining what what cycle is, enjoy ( :

I have chosen to make a box for my sisters jewellery . I think this is the best choice because its easy.
It will be used as a jewellery box or for coins.
She will have it on her draws.
For this project I will have to use a Saw,Bench hook and a steel ruler. Oh and I cant forget a pencil.

Something in the water

Do you like fish? Well i don't.
When I first entered into the hall the barbecu
e caught my eye. I was wondering if they were
cooking sausages, but they weren't. They were
cooking scaley,gunky,smelly fish !

But it wasn't just fish they were cooking. They
were cooking prawns and other things of this kind.

First we started with karakia and mihi then Mr
Burt started talking about this terms theme.
It was…..

I was so excited to learn about sea animals. 

After a while instead of giving stickers out they were giving
fish. Later on we started watching the movies.

First team 1 showed there movie. It was about s.o.f.a and they
were showing us the body parts of a sea animal.Team 3 was
next. They were feeding the ducks bread and they were also
going showing us rock pools. Team 3 was Ramona finding a
animals to help her care for the animals. Team 4 was showing
us the life cycle of the sea animals.Team 5 was singing a song
about cells, genes, Germiston and nuclease.

 It was a fun time we had. I also thought it was cool that som
e of the teacher got to take home a fish. Also miss sorenson
caught smoked fish.Mr Burt caught most of the fish at Pt
England beach. I never knew that our beach had so many fish. 

After that we went to class and started doing work for the first
time in term 3!

Immersion Assembly

At the Immersion assembly it was so long. First we do at the beginning and then after that, but did a little speech.Then the teachers dd there item. First Team 1,Team 2,Team 3..etc

My personal favourite was team 4.I would probably be like them and eat.

After that it ended the years 7s & 8s had another little assembly to end it

             Today we were privileged to have Jannah to talk about the strength of friendships.
                               

• Be Friendly:Be friendly could even be a smile or even a joke.Also is your friendly you actually take an interest in others. 
• Be Yourself:No body wants to be a friend pf somebody if they are being somebody there not.Also if your being fake your friend might find out and it might end up with a lot of drama.
• Be positive:If your positive you use positive language and you always saying nice things about other people unlike negative people pointing out the negative in other people.
• Remember the special times:It might be a farewell of a close friend or a sleepover.Also it may hurt peoples feelings or even annoy them.
• Learn to listen:It is important to listen because people could be offended or irritate if you are saying Yes or if your constantly saying 'wait what'.
• Remember Names:It could be sad if your close friends or even a well known family member was to be called him or her.People have names for a reason. A tip for remembering a name is rhyming the name with a word.
