Terracotta pots

                                    

This Term we are doing Te Wa Toi and that means doing different pieces of art.We did terracotta
pots and I did mine Hot pink and green patterns along with an emoji face.My favourite part about
doing the pots was how we got to choose what we wanted to Paint and that we could take it home
for a gift or we could keep it.Next time I would like more time to paint and and  would improve on
how i did my emoji.Also I would like more paint(White).

Who am I?

 On Tuesday the 23 of October we did a challenge called Who Am I.The whole of room 8 got play the game, we had to get into groups of two and it was me and Paige in a group.The rules are very simple, so first you get given a card an you have to were it facing your partner and you need to constantly ask your partner a question and they will say yes or no.

First Miss Parrant told us the rules then she gave Paige the card.She wasn't familiar with the

Person on the card so she searched it up on her Chromebook. When I put it on my head it suddenly slipped out of my hands and drop frontwards, and I saw the answer I acted like I never knew it dropped so when Paige looked away I put it back on my head.I asked he am I an object at first just to not make it obvious.After 6 questions I finally told he that I knew that it was Will Smith.She told me why didn't I tell her sooner.So I left to Miss Parrant to get another card without cheating.

I got it and told Paige I didn’t cheat this time and put it on my head.I asked her a second time “Is It an Object” and she said no and I asked he another question “Am I A Person and she said Yes.I asked he if I was of a movie and she Yes then I  had an Idea, I said “Am I from a Disney movie and she said Yes.I asked it the character had children and a wife and she said Yes.After about 12 questions I asked he am I The Tooth Fairy and She said YES!I rejoiced over the fact that I got it right but then suddenly Miss Parrant said One more Minute and that was what frightened me so I got one for Paige and she asked me questions and finally at the last 10 seconds she got it right.

After Miss Parrant Said Can I have a Volunteer and I said Me so I had to  to guess a character and It was Emma Watson.Then Nahea went and She guessed Moana and then all of the class said Yes.Then Miss Parrant Told us to do a recount on it.

After all it was quite fun and it was even funnier that we could work with our friends.

Marshmallow Challenge

Have you ever done the Marshmallow Challenge? To in Room 8 we had a marshmallow challenge and the  rules where very simple.First you get 1 marshmallow,20 sticks of spaghetti and 1 yard or tape and string. I had Efe-Lata and Naomi and Jezzelle in my group.

3,2,1 Go!We rain to our tables and tipped the ingredients out of the bag.We didn't know what we were doing at first but then I had a brilliant idea.I didn't tell them but I just did it then they started copying me.By the time we had been half way we were beating all of the other groups but Paige’s group was catching up.Everyone's tower wasn't going to be as tall as ours I thought to myself.

Then our tower Fell down,I was so disappointed in myself.But in the end we all achieved one goal and it was to work as a team.I looked at all the other teams and they were taller than the one we built but then it was not hands free.After our Tower fell down Miss Parrant said that we can have an abundance of tape.!IT WAS NOT FAIR!But my other friends towers were still up

so I cheered them on.

In the end i really thought I had a fun time.We actually thought it was going to be boring but this was probably the most funnest thing we did this term.After that we all had to clean up the mess we made and we cleaned up some of the other groups mess.If i did it again I would like to have more marshmallow and more spaghetti.

To sum it up I really liked the Marshmallow challenge and to be honest I never that it would work.

Cave Art Animation

Hi my name is Toni and this is my term 4 cave art animation. 

Not too long ago this art was discovered hidden in a secret cave.
It must have been drawn thousands of years ago.I will tell you what happened

One day a large elephant was walking along in the jungle.
The people were scared of elephants. That day the elephant walked near the cave
where the people stayed. They were afraid so some people were trying to attack
the elephant. The elephant tried to run away, but the people finally got him with a weapon. 
Then the elephant sadly died… I hope you enjoyed my animation.
